Top 12 Best Testosterone Booster Supplements [2020 Review]

Reviewing the top 12 best testosterone boosters of 2020, plus a research guide on the most popular questions about men using natural male hormone supplements to optimize sexual performance.

Full Disclosure

Testosterone is the master male hormone in the men's sexual health spotlight and has been for sometime. And as innovation, science and technology continue to merge, ranking the best testosterone boosters of 2020 takes many research rounds to understand the spectrum of what's available, what's popular, and what's actually working.

By now, it is no secret men over the age of 30 typically see a gradual decline in libido, energy, and strength. While super subtle in time, in order to combat this slow-burn decline of age-related hormonal health, many men turn to natural testosterone boosting supplements for help as opposed to expensive low testosterone therapy sessions or other risky strategies. Testosterone is a hormone that stands above all the others in the masculinity kingdom.

As science equates the prized sexual health hormone for effectively determining how all of the other hormones run in order to make sure they do their specific requirements in a balanced way. For men, testosterone can also contribute to the production of lean muscle as well as improve sexual performance. There is even the dreaded erectile dysfunction that low T levels can breed within the body. Between all of the available male enhancement supplements to pre-workout powders, what makes natural testosterone boosters any different for men?

In the past 2 decades or so, there is a reported overall decline in the testosterone levels of the entire male population. In 1986, men of all ages had about 25% more testosterone across the board than men do today. With the turn of every decade, the male population produces less and less testosterone. The decline of this hormone is accompanied by heightened levels of depression, heart disease, and many other illnesses that are affected by the hormone.

The following guide is split up into three major sections for easy consumption. The first, and most important for those reviewing the best testosterone enhancing supplements, is a tried and true ranking system that takes in a full spectrum of attributes, qualities and properties in order to rate the top testo boosters of today. Next, given the closeness of the central concept of boosting testosterone naturally, there is a friendly guide on the top 50 ways to increase testosterone levels safely and effectively.  Lastly, but certainly not least important, is some key insights on dietary research regarding whole foods to consider incorporating into your daily diet and hunger habits that have been shown to help boost low T in men through nutrition.

Without further delay, queue up the drum roll, it's time to roll out the red carpet and play ball with the grown men looking for an extra pep in their step. Here are the best low T boosting supplements aging men can use to help regain and support that youthful vitality, vigor and ever-lasting life force of your prime.

Top 12 Best Testosterone Boosting Supplements in 2020

Testosterone is a crucial hormone for any man. Testosterone is often called the ‘success’ hormone. It’s responsible for building lean muscle mass, enhancing bone density, and raising sex drive. Unfortunately, today’s men have historically low testosterone levels.

Because of today’s low testosterone levels, testosterone boosters have never been more popular. As more and more men seek ways to naturally raise testosterone levels, a growing number of supplement manufacturers have entered the market.

Unfortunately, not all ‘test boosters’ are made equal. Some test boosters are entirely useless and backed only by junk science. Other test boosters are overpowered and cause unwanted side effects.

Today, we’re highlighting the best testosterone boosters of 2020, including the supplements that contain proven ingredients in the right dosages.

Our editorial team combed through the hottest test boosters on Amazon and other major marketplaces. After hours of deliberation, here are our favorite testosterone booster supplements of 2020.

Prime Male

PrimeMale

Prime Male is another great product that knows better than to use a proprietary formula. It works by targeting the prolactin and estrogen levels in men and controlling them efficiently.

The main ingredient is D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate, and it also uses luteolin and Boron to help block the production of these hormones. Other ingredients include zinc, magnesium, nettle root extract, and mucuna pruriens. BioPerine is also present to help the other ingredients be more bioavailable.

TestoFuel

TestoFuel

The makers of Prime Male also provide a supplement called TestoFuel, which has become extremely popular in the past year and is possibly the most powerful supplement of its kind available. Their manufacturer sticks to their good choices and doesn’t use a proprietary blend at all, and this product also doesn’t include any additives. Every dose of TestoFuel includes vitamin K2, vitamin B6, vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, fenugreek, ginseng, D-aspartic acid, and oyster extract.

Oyster extract is a great choice for this product, and it contains heavy levels of zinc, copper, manganese, omega 3, and omega 6 fish oils, taurine, and tons of amino acids. This makes it a great tool for increased strength and higher libido.

Prime Labs Prime Test

Prime Labs Prime Test

This supplement wraps every ingredient up into a proprietary blend, which is meant to keep their competitors from being able to duplicate the formula. What this means for you is that you can see what all of the ingredients are, but you won’t be able to see the amount of each ingredient that is included. This can make it difficult to determine the proper dosages of a particular ingredient.

Prime Test doesn’t have many of the herbs and extracts that you find in most testosterone boosters, such as fenugreek extract and tribulus terrestris. This product has shown results for some satisfied users, so if you can trust them without knowing the exact ingredient levels, it’s worth a shot.

Androsurge

Androsurge

Androsurge is a very popular testosterone booster that has been around for a good while. It has a sister product called Primasurge that is also very popular, and at first glance, it may appear that they are very similar. If you look closer, though, it becomes clear that Androsurge is superior.

Androsurge includes doses of zinc and vitamin D that are not included in Primasurge, and it has been scientifically proven that a deficiency in either of these nutrients can cause you to have lower testosterone levels. Primasurge is designed to target users who are more interested in herbal remedies, and it does not include some of the proven chemical agents like diindolylmethane that are more well-established but not all-natural.

Androsurge isn’t perfect, though. It’s missing some common ingredients like fenugreek and Tribulus Terrestris, but it’s still not a bad option overall.

Athletic Edge APE Darknight

APE Darknight

Every type of supplement has at least one product that tries to include every relevant ingredient whether it works well with the formula or not. This strategy of throwing in everything but the kitchen sink seems to be the approach that was taken with this supplement, as well.

Athletic Edge APE Darknight contains all of the ingredients that you expect to see in a good testosterone booster and a few more that you don’t. It includes diindolylmethane and fenugreek alongside melatonin, long jack, green coffee bean extract, and green tea extract.

Because it includes melatonin, it’s important to note that you should only take this product right before you go to bed. Taking it at any other time of day could cause you to become very sleepy when you don’t really want to be.

Zhou Boost Elite

Zhou Boost Elite

Zhou Boost Elite uses an interesting Eastern approach to testosterone boosting, which you may have guessed from the name. It includes some of the common ingredients like Tribulus Terrestris and fenugreek, but it also uses a collection of ancient Asian herbs like yohimbe bark, tongkat ali, and panax ginseng.

It’s hard to verify how well these ingredients work to boost your testosterone, as scientific studies haven’t done much research into these ingredients. If traditional medicine is more your speed and you particularly gravitate toward ancient Chinese medicines, Zhou Boost Elite might be the right products for you.

Superior Labs Test WORx

Superior Labs Test WORx

TestWorx has become a giant in the testosterone booster market, and it has achieved its popularity due to a few select ingredients that it uses to target testosterone production. It contains hefty doses of zinc along with a complement of B vitamins, namely B3, B6, and B12, but it doesn’t include vitamin D.

These ingredients are all useful in testosterone boosters because having a deficiency in any of them could cause lower testosterone levels. If you spend a lot of time outdoors or get your vitamin D from another supplement, then missing it here shouldn’t be a problem.

TestWorx uses a proprietary formula of nettle root, maca root, Tribulus Terrestris, and a few other common herbal extracts that are known to help increase testosterone, but it is interesting to see that it does not include fenugreek seed. If you really like the fenugreek work to boost testosterone, you’ll have to choose a different product.

TestoBoost

TestoBoost

TestoBoost has been popular in the testosterone booster market for a few years now, and there are several professional athletes who swear by it. The product uses a two-pronged approach to provide results.

First, it provides you with nutrients like magnesium and zinc to fight off deficiencies so that your body can produce and process as much testosterone as it can. Secondly, it increases testosterone, libido, every, and muscle building using a blend of popular herbal ingredients. The ingredients they use include Tribulus Terrestris, long jack, horny goat weed, saw palmetto, and a few others.

Users who have reviewed the product agree that it is efficient at improving energy levels, workout performance, and libido.

MuscleTech Alpha Test

MuscleTech Alpha Test

AlphaTest contains some of the most popular and well-proven testosterone boosting ingredients, and most of them are herbal extracts. It’s got Tribulus Terrestris, fenugreek extract, and zinc to name just a few. These are basically the top three ingredients to look for in a solid testosterone booster. If it wanted to be really perfect it would also include vitamin D, B vitamins, and magnesium, but it’s not like MuscleTech was trying to create a multivitamin.

If you’ve already got a good multivitamin supplement or you follow a healthy diet that can account for the missing ingredients, this product is great.

Vintage Boost

Vintage Boost

The marketing for Vintage Boost is pretty old school, but their formula is anything but. It contains the latest cutting-edge ingredients in vitamins and herbal extracts to help increase your testosterone levels.

Vintage Boost understands that vitamin D deficiency is very common in men, and this is especially true for men that have darker skin or live in climates that don’t get much sun. To help with this, they include a massive 2,000 IU dose of vitamin D, along with plenty of other testosterone essentials like vitamin B6, zinc, and magnesium.

Vintage Boost has more to off other than just vitamins, though. They also include D-aspartic acid, maca root, tribulus fruit, and a proprietary blend of herbal extracts called PrimaVie. If you know you need some extra vitamin support with your testosterone booster, this make be right for you.

Nugenix Total-T

Nugenix Total-T

Nugenix includes a small number of vitamins, but they put most of their eggs in a proprietary basket. They use L-citrulline malate, an ingredient that you won’t find in very many other testosterone boosters. L-citrulline malate is an amino acid and it plays a vital role in regulating your blood flow.

This is especially relevant for men who are taking testosterone boosters specifically to treat erectile dysfunction. After all, at its core erectile dysfunction is little more than a blood flow problem. In addition to this, Nugenix also has other more common ingredients like tribulus terrestris and fenugreek extract

Evlution Nutrition EVLTest

Evlution Nutrition EVLTest

EVLTest is a big believer in fighting the possible nutritional causes of having low testosterone. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are a big part of this, so they include zinc, B vitamins, and vitamin D in their formula. Many supplements only include these in minor doses just so they can list them on the label, but EVLTest makes sure to provide them in solid doses. In fact, it contains anywhere from 40 percent to 550 percent of the daily recommended dose of each nutrient.

It’s not just a testosterone focused multivitamin, though, and also has D-aspartic acid, tribulus terrestris, and fenugreek seed extract. There is also an ingredient called diindolylmethane, which is not a well-proven as the other ingredients but is commonly found in a few other testosterone supplements. It has a healthy dose of all of these ingredients so that they are able to actually be effective.

How We Ranked the Best Testo Supplements

Our editorial team spent hours compiling the rankings above. Here are some of the factors we used to compile our rankings:

Ingredients

Certain supplement ingredients have been proven, in numerous studies, to raise testosterone levels. Other ingredients are backed entirely by junk science or unwarranted hype. Obviously, we focused on testosterone boosting supplements that used real, proven ingredients.

Dosages

You can have all of the right ingredients and still have a poor-quality testosterone booster supplement. We emphasized supplements that not only had the right ingredients but also had the right dosages.

Price and Value

A supplement manufacturer could make the world’s greatest test booster and sell it for $1,000 per bottle, but that wouldn’t mean much. It’s out of reach for the average man. That’s why we took price and value into consideration. Is the supplement maker charging a fair price based on the ingredients inside? Or is the supplement wildly overpriced?

Label Transparency

Testosterone boosters are a shady corner of the supplement industry. Some test boosters hide their ingredients behind proprietary formulas. They might pack the formula with undisclosed amounts of caffeine, for example, to trick users into thinking that they feel more “manly”. We emphasized test booster supplements that had transparent, honest labels.

Company Reputation

Some supplement manufacturers only produced testosterone supplements to capitalize on a new trend. Other supplement makers have a long-standing, proven reputation. We emphasized company reputation when compiling our rankings.

Affiliate Commissions

The testosterone booster industry is notoriously shady. There are plenty of websites willing to sell you low-quality testosterone boosters at inflated prices while making insane promises about their effectiveness. Some of the lower-ranked testosterone boosters on our list cost $60 but half of that sale price goes towards affiliate commissions. We emphasized supplements where you paid for the ingredients and formula, not affiliate commissions.

After reviewing the best testosterone boosters in 2020, the male-centric hormone deserves much more than a run of the mill rinse and repeat “guide” to close up the rankings above. However, at Advanced Living we like to spice it up a bit whenever and wherever we can, providing the most virtual value we can thumb up in regards to optimizing men's health.

Who Should Take a Testosterone Booster?

Testosterone levels for men are at historic lows. The average man today has a lower testosterone level than at any previous point in recorded history.

That’s why testosterone boosters, or test boosters, have skyrocketed in popularity. Testosterone boosters are more popular today than ever before. There are more testosterone boosters on the market today than at any previous point.

There are all sorts of reasons to take a testosterone booster. Obviously, anyone who takes a testosterone booster wants to raise their testosterone levels. However, testosterone is a hormone that can have significant benefits on multiple aspects of the body.

Testosterone is linked to better weight loss and bodybuilding results, for example. If you’re trying to lose weight and gain lean muscle mass, then testosterone may be able to help. In multiple studies, higher testosterone levels have been linked to higher rates of fat loss.

Testosterone is also linked to increased competitiveness. Men with higher testosterone levels are naturally more competitive. That could mean better results in sports and business. Some men take testosterone supplements to maximize their competitive edge.

Many men are also interested in testosterone boosters because of the sexual performance benefits. Higher testosterone levels can lead to better results in the bedroom. It can improve sex drive and libido, for example, and boost the strength of your erections, among other benefits. In fact, many testosterone boosters blur the line between test boosters and sexual performance supplements: they both work in similar ways to do a similar job.

Of course, many men who take testosterone boosters just want to feel “more manly”. They want to feel stronger at the gym. They want to feel a greater sex drive around women. They want to boost weightlifting results, lose weight, and enjoy other benefits.

That feeling of being “more manly” isn’t just in your head; many men take testosterone boosters to improve their sperm quality. Your levels of vitamin D, for example, play a crucial role in your sperm quality. If you are trying to have a child, then a testosterone booster may be the difference-maker.

Whatever your desired benefits may be, there are plenty of good reasons to take a testosterone booster supplement.

Benefits of Testosterone Boosters

best testo boosters 2020

When many people think of testosterone boosters, they think of anabolic steroids and other illegal substances.

It’s true: anabolic steroids can significantly raise testosterone levels. However, many men are able to enjoy similar benefits (and no side effects) by taking testosterone boosting supplements. Your testosterone levels will not increase as significantly as they would if you were taking steroids. However, you also enjoy a few of the undesirable side effects, like ‘man boobs’, shrunken testicles, and other unwanted effects.

Let’s take a look at some of the scientific benefits of testosterone boosters proven by science.

First, let’s look at D-aspartic acid or DAA. DAA has surged in popularity in recent years, due largely to its numerous proven benefits. DAA has performed very well in multiple studies to date and appears to have a real ability to safely increase testosterone levels in many men. DAA works by increasing your body’s natural levels of follicle-stimulating hormones as well as luteinizing hormone. The luteinizing hormone then upregulates testosterone production from the Leydig cells in the testes. That’s a fancy way of saying that DAA kick starts your body’s natural ability to produce testosterone.

The testosterone-boosting effects of DAA have been witnessed in studies on both animals and humans. This study published in Reproductive Biology & Endocrinology in 2009, for example, showed that DAA could boost testosterone production in as little as 12 days.

The effects of d-aspartic acid are so significant that many men take DAA to boost sperm production. In this study, for example, men with impaired sperm production took a DAA supplement for 90 days. By the end of the period, the sperm count had doubled, on average, rising from 8.2 million to 16.5 million sperm per ml.

However, DAA isn’t 100% effective in all men. In men with healthy testosterone levels and an active strength training routine, DAA does not seem to have a significant impact on testosterone levels. That’s why DAA is particularly popular among men who have naturally low levels of testosterone or are looking for a boost to their new strength training routine.

Many of the testosterone boosters above have significant levels of vitamin D. Scientists have identified a link between vitamin D deficiency and low testosterone levels. Subjects who spend time in the sun (which encourages your body’s natural production of vitamin D) tend to have higher testosterone levels than men who do not spend time in the sun. In this study, male testosterone levels rose after the men spent time in sunlight.

Vitamin D is also closely correlated with sperm quality. Men who get sufficient levels of vitamin D tend to have higher sperm quality.

The testosterone-boosting effects of vitamin D were witnessed in this study where men were 65 men were split into two groups. One group took 3,300 IU of vitamin D every day, while the other group served as the control. By the end of the study period, the men who took the vitamin D supplement had doubled their serum levels of vitamin D and raised testosterone levels by 20%.

As with DAA, vitamin D seems to work particularly well in men who do not currently have sufficient testosterone production. If you already have normal, healthy testosterone levels and vitamin D levels, then it’s unlikely that taking a vitamin D supplement would raise testosterone levels further.

Let’s talk about zinc, which is arguably the most proven testosterone booster on the market. Many men with low levels of testosterone are able to reverse this problem by merely taking a zinc supplement. If you aren’t getting enough zinc in your diet, for example, then you may have lower levels of testosterone than normal. As this study published in Nutrition in 1996 explains, zinc is directly linked to testosterone levels in men, much like vitamin D.

This study examined the connection between infertile men and testosterone levels. Researchers found that men with normal levels of testosterone experienced no benefit from zinc supplementation. Men with lower levels of testosterone, however, were able to significantly increase testosterone and sperm count.

We don’t have to look far to find other benefits of zinc supplementation in men. This study tested how zinc supplementation affected elite wrestlers. Researchers gave a zinc supplement to elite wrestlers for four weeks during a high-intensity training routine. Researchers noted that wrestlers taking the zinc supplement were able to avoid the decline in testosterone levels typically associated with increased stress.

Overall, zinc can significantly increase testosterone levels if you are low in zinc or testosterone. However, it won’t have as significant of an effect if you have sufficient levels of zinc or testosterone.

One more mineral appears in many of the supplements above boron. Boron plays a crucial role in male testosterone production. Boron is particularly important because many men don’t get enough of it. It’s a race trace mineral that may not be found in many other supplements or foods. In this study, men increased testosterone levels by 29.5% after taking 6mg of boron per day for 60 days. However, the study only involved 13 men, and more research needs to be done to verify the testosterone-boosting benefits of boron.

Let’s move into the herbal extracts. The testosterone boosters above are packed with herbal extracts that most men have never heard of. What’s the story with Tribulus Terrestris, fenugreek, and Tongkat Ali?

First, Tribulus Terrestris isn’t new to the testosterone booster space. In fact, it may be the oldest test booster in the world. The herbal extract has been used for centuries, possibly even longer, by men seeking to raise their libido.

Today, researchers have observed the libido-boosting effects of Tribulus Terrestris in multiple studies. This 90-day study examined the connection between Tribulus Terrestris and erectile dysfunction (ED). Men with ED took Tribulus Terrestris for 90 days. On average, men taking Tribulus Terrestris increased testosterone levels by 16%.

Once again, the testosterone-boosting effects of Tribulus Terrestris seem particularly significant in men with low testosterone levels. The effect is not as significant among men who already have high or normal testosterone levels.

Fenugreek is another popular testosterone booster. Fenugreek is an herbal extract that raises testosterone by lowering the number of enzymes that convert testosterone into estrogen. Check out this eight-week trial where college students took 500mg of fenugreek every day while resistance training. While a control group experienced a minor dip in testosterone during the training period, the fenugreek group experienced significantly higher levels of both free and total testosterone. The fenugreek group also increased fat loss and strength compared to the control group. Based on the results of this study, fenugreek can significantly enhance the effectiveness of a weightlifting routine and raise testosterone at the same time.

Other studies have specifically examined the connection between fenugreek and improved sexual function. In this study, for example, 60 men between ages 25 and 60 took 600mg of fenugreek or a placebo over six weeks. The fenugreek group experienced an 81% increase in libido, a 66% increase in sexual performance, an 81% increase in energy, and a 55% increase in general wellbeing.

What about ashwagandha? Ashwagandha is another herbal extract rarely discussed outside of the supplement space. Ashwagandha, like Tribulus Terrestris, has been traditionally used in ancient medicine as a libido booster. Today, science classifies ashwagandha as an adaptogen, which means it improves the ability of your body to cope with stress and anxiety.

This study showed that ashwagandha can do more than just relieve anxiety; it can also impact sperm production. Participants took 5g of ashwagandha extract over three months. After three months, participants’ testosterone levels were increased by 10% to 22%. Plus, 14% of the participants’ spouses became pregnant, suggesting that ashwagandha can impact fertility.

Ashwagandha also seems to improve exercise performance, strength, and fat loss, all of which seem to be linked to ashwagandha ability to raise testosterone levels.

Ginseng can be found in several supplements listed above. It’s a testosterone booster that raises libido. It also has antimicrobial properties, which is why ancient Chinese medicine sees ginseng as a panacea or cure-all.

It’s important to note that Malaysian ginseng is also known as Tongkat Ali, which is why many of the supplements above prominently advertise their dosage of Tongkat Ali.

There’s one other notable study on Tongkat Ali: it may raise testosterone levels in men who have moderate stress. A 2012 study involving men with low testosterone showed that men raised testosterone levels by 46% after taking 200mg of Tongkat Ali extract for 30 days.

Out of all of the testosterone booster ingredients listed here, Tongkat Ali has been the least-studied. We know certain types of ginseng have been traditionally used as libido boosters, although there has been little modern proof that ginseng can impact testosterone levels.

L-arginine can be found in many of the testosterone boosters above, although perhaps not for the reason you would expect; L-arginine does not seem to have any significant impact on testosterone production but it does raise nitric oxide levels in your body, causing your blood vessels to widen. This is why L-arginine can relieve erectile dysfunction and boost sex drive, making men feel like they have higher testosterone levels.

We also see shilajit in certain testosterone supplements above. Shilajit is a dark, rocky, mushroom-like substance collected from high elevations in the Himalayas. It’s been traditionally used to raise libido in men, and recent research has been surprisingly supportive of shilajit. Shilajit contains more than 85 minerals in their ionic forms, which means the minerals are bound to fulvic acid. In this 2010 study, participants ingested 200mg of shilajit extract per day over a 3 month period; participants raised testosterone levels by 23%, sperm levels by 61%, and sperm quality by 37%.

DHEA is one of the more controversial testosterone booster ingredients. Several studies have shown that DHEA has no significant impact on testosterone levels in men. Multiple studies have tried to replicate the testosterone-boosting effects of DHEA with no results, including this study and this one.

Side Effects of Testosterone Boosters

top testo boosters 2020

We’ve all heard about the serious side effects of anabolic steroids and other high-powered testosterone boosters. But can testosterone booster supplements affect your body in similar ways?

Generally, testosterone booster supplements will not have powerful effects on your body and will not affect your body in similar ways. You’re not going to grow ‘man boobs’ after taking a test booster for a month, for example. However, there are still some notable test booster side effects you should be aware of.

First and most importantly, some testosterone boosting supplements have been linked to heart issues. Higher testosterone levels tend to be connected to a higher risk of heart issues. As reported by the New England Journal of Medicine, men over 65 taking a testosterone gel supplement experienced an increase in heart problems. The same problem occurred with men under 65 at risk of heart problems.

Testosterone boosters can also promote tumors. One study showed that testosterone increased the growth rate of tumors in mice. Other studies have connected testosterone boosters to sleep apnea, acne, enlarged breasts, and testicular shrinkage.

However, it’s important to note that most of these side effects are connected with prescription testosterone boosters or anabolic steroids. When taking testosterone boosting supplements as recommended, it’s unlikely that most men will experienced significant side effects.

As with anything, we recommend talking to your doctor before taking testosterone booster supplements, or any supplement.

Recommended Dosage of Testosterone Boosters

Testosterone boosters contain a range of ingredients linked to higher levels of testosterone. Below, we’ll explain some of the recommended dosages based on each individual dosage:

First, there’s no standardized dose of Tribulus Terrestris, which is one of the most proven herbal extracts on this list for raising testosterone levels. However, studies have shown that Tribulus Terrestris should be safe when taking less than 1500mg per day.

Similarly, Tongkat Ali seems to be safe when taken in doses up to 600mg per day.

DAA, meanwhile, seems most useful when taking 2 to 3 grams per day by men who are deficient in testosterone.

Vitamin D is another proven testosterone booster. The best way to get vitamin D is by exposure to sunlight. However, if sun exposure isn’t an option, then a vitamin D supplement can help you consume 3,000mg of vitamin D3 per day.

The recommended dose of fenugreek for testosterone and sexual function appears to be around 500mg per day.

L-arginine does not have an established recommended dosage. However, it’s typically taken safely in dosages between 400 and 6,000mg. Many pre-workout supplements, for example, contain 6,000mg of L-arginine with no reported side effects.

The average man should take 5 to 10mg of zinc per day to maintain healthy testosterone levels. Men with low testosterone levels, meanwhile, may want to increase zinc levels to 30 to 45mg until reaching their desired level of testosterone.

Finally, boron’s recommended dose is between 3 and 25mg per day. At higher dosage, boron may become toxic.

These foods have been shown to increase the activity of an enzyme called aromatase, which converts testosterone into estrogen in your body.

Q: Does alcohol lower testosterone levels?

A: Some research has shown that prolonged, chronic drinking over long periods can lower testosterone levels. Other studies have shown, however, that moderate drinking can raise testosterone levels in the short term.

Q: How long does it take for testosterone boosters to work?

A: The time of effectiveness varies widely between testosterone boosters. You will feel the short-term effects of some supplements kick into effect within 30 to 60 minutes, for example. Other testosterone boosters may need to be taken daily for 30 to 60 days before long-term effects (like fat loss, increased lean body mass, and higher testosterone levels) are noticed. Generally, most people report significant improvements within the first 4 to 12 weeks of taking testosterone booster supplements.

Final Words on Best Testosterone Boosters 2020

The entire male population has been experiencing an overall decline in testosterone levels in the last few decades, and pretty much every male of 30 can benefit from taking some form of testosterone booster. This is especially true if you live a sedentary lifestyle.

Improving your posture, having sex, getting enough sleep, exercising, and following a healthy diet are all great method for increasing your testosterone, and adding in a supplement can help to amplify these effects. Testosterone boosters help to ensure that you are getting enough of the right vitamins and minerals, along with a few herbal enhancers, to optimize your body’s natural testosterone production.

As made clear in the above 2020 rankings of the best testosterone boosters in 2020, it is easy to see testo boosters come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. With male testosterone levels at historically low levels, more men are turning to test booster supplements than ever before.

Consider using one of the testosterone booster supplements above. Whether you’re trying to regain a feeling of ‘manliness’ or searching for targeted weight loss goals and other benefits, a good testosterone booster supplement can impact your body in powerful ways.
