By taking Silencil daily, you can purportedly give your brain the nutrients it needs to permanently eliminate tinnitus, fix brain disorders, and restore your hearing, among other benefits.

What is Silencil?

Silencil is a nutritional supplement marketed as a cure for tinnitus. The supplement contains ingredients that not only cure tinnitus – they also restore your hearing.

All you need to do is take Silencil daily, and the supplement will rapidly restore your hearing. The makers of Silencil claim their solution is natural and inexpensive and will allow you to stop the ringing in your ears caused by tinnitus.

Obviously, we’re skeptical of Silencil. We’ve seen other supplements marketed online as cures for tinnitus. None of them have been proven to work as advertised.

Is Silencil yet another supplement scam? Or is this it the right solution for your tinnitus issues? Let’s take a closer look at the story behind Silencil and how it works.

The Story Behind Silencil

As part of a 2020 marketing campaign, the makers of Silencil have launched a dramatic video and webpage featuring the story of a man named Henry Sanders.

Henry claims his tinnitus was so bad that he tried to kill himself. After attempting suicide for his tinnitus, Henry was admitted to the psych ward.

Henry tried to kill himself because he had a severe form of tinnitus. He had a constant, loud ringing in his ears. Henry’s tinnitus left him unable to concentrate on anything. He struggled with depression and anxiety because of his tinnitus, describing his condition as “a living hell”.

To make a long story short, Henry claims to have stumbled upon the cure for tinnitus by partnering with a man named Dr. Peterson. Dr. Peterson cured Henry’s tinnitus using natural ingredients. Now, Henry wants to share that cure with the world in the form of Silencil.

Henry describes the formula as “a miracle” for hearing loss and tinnitus.

Henry also claims to have conducted a clinical trial where “100% of the participants were tinnitus free in 4 weeks” (although this trial was not published anywhere). He claims to have used the ingredients in Silencil to cure tinnitus in a group of 40 men and women.

Henry also, bizarrely, claims that “over 122,000 men and women” have used Silencil to treat brain inflammation.

Again, we’re skeptical any of this is true. Silencil seems to use the same marketing tactics as many other shady supplements sold online, advertising huge benefits without evidence.

Will Silencil Cure Tinnitus?

Supplement companies cannot advertise themselves as a cure for any disease. According to FDA regulations, only drugs can advertise themselves as a cure.

That’s why it’s unusual to see Silencil take a different approach. The supplement seems to suggest you can permanently relive tinnitus (i.e. cure tinnitus) using the formula.

In fact, the makers of Silencil even suggest their formula “protects you from…dangerous brain disorders such as dementia and memory loss”.

Here are some of the claims made on the Silencil.com sales page:

“…a completely natural and inexpensive solution that allows you to finally stop this debilitating noise in your ears”

“A method so powerful that removes tinnitus, restores your hearing, gives you back your mental clarity and protects you from migraines, brain fatigue, and even dangerous brain disorders such as dementia and memory loss

“This method is so incredible, it’s been clinically proven to work on anyone, no matter if you’re 20 or 80 years old, no matter how bad the ringing in your ears has become or if you’ve been suffering from tinnitus for 10 weeks or 10 years. And no matter your current medical condition.”

“So we gathered a group of 40 men and women, all tinnitus sufferers from mild to severe and some with hearing loss and even with memory related problems. Dr. Peterson prepared the formula, gave it to all participants and instructed them to follow the program for 30 days…100% of the participants were tinnitus free in 4 weeks.”

“…some were able to get rid of their hearing aids”

“Now I have 3 words for you: NO. MORE. TINNITUS.”

In that study (which did not actually take place, as far as we can tell), Henry claims 100% of the participants “reported a surge in their brain functions, their memory was better, their focus was significantly improved, none of them experienced any more headaches or dizziness.”

Ultimately, Silencil doesn’t use the word ‘cure’ anywhere on its sales page. However, the company clearly advertises Silencil as a way to permanently restore hearing at any age – no matter how serious your tinnitus is, no matter what types of brain issues you have, and no matter what types of medical conditions you have.

Overall, it’s unusual for a supplement to advertise any of these things – and it makes Silencil look like more of a scam than a legitimate ear health supplement.

How Does Silencil Work?

Clearly, Silencil makes enormous claims about its effectiveness. But does it actually work as advertised to cure tinnitus and restore hearing? Or is this another supplement scam that makes bold, unproven claims without evidence?

Silencil claims to work by targeting inflammation in your brain. The company claims inflammation in your brain tissues and nerve cells is “the root cause of your tinnitus”.

Typically, tinnitus is caused by physical damage within your ears. The makers of Silencil, however, claim that’s not the case: instead, tinnitus is caused by a treatable type of inflammation within your brain.

Inflammation of your brain and nerve cells, according to the makers of Silencil, creates a vibration, and this vibration feels like tinnitus. By eliminating inflammation, Silencil stops this vibration, permanently solving your tinnitus.

To cure tinnitus and restore hearing, Silencil simply neutralizes this inflammation in your brain using four ingredients. You take two capsules of Silencil daily, and the ingredients have anti-inflammatory effects within your brain tissues and nerve cells, curing tinnitus within weeks.

Again, there’s no evidence any of this is true. Typically, tinnitus is caused by physical damage to your ear and the cells and hairs within your ear – not “inflammation in your nerve cells and brain”.

Silencil Ingredients

Silencil combines an alarming number of plant and herbal extracts into one formula to cure your tinnitus. The company claims to have created a “perfect combination of 28 carefully mixed plant extracts and vitamins” into each capsule.

When you have 28 plant extracts and vitamins in a single capsule, it means none of these ingredients are found at a particularly high dosage. Unless the capsule is as large as a group (and it’s not), you aren’t getting a significant dose of any listed ingredient.

The makers of Silencil claim that the “miracle plants” within the formula “contain powerful nutrients that mixed together eliminate inflammation directly on your nerve cells and so they stop vibrating which results in total silence of your mind and ears”, among other bizarre claims.

Oddly, Silencil refuses to disclose the full list of ingredients in the formula. The company lists some ingredients, although they don’t disclose the dosages of any ingredients.

Here are some of the ingredients in Silencil:

  • Ashwagandha
  • Chamomile
  • Mucuna pruriens
  • Vitamins B1, B2, and B6
  • Potassium
  • Oat straw extract
  • Rhodiola rosea extract

The company does not disclose the names of the other 20+ ingredients used in Silencil.

As far as we can tell, Silencil contains no significant doses of most listed ingredients. Instead, the supplement is like any $10 multivitamin. Your body needs certain vitamins and minerals to support overall health and wellness – including ear health. There’s no evidence that the other ingredients in Silencil – like ashwagandha and chamomile – can restore hearing in any way, even if the supplement used the correct dosage.

When a supplement company refuses to disclose full ingredient or dosage information, it typically means they don’t have good ingredients or strong dosages. Supplements with strong dosages and good ingredients want to advertise these features. Bad supplements hide their ingredient and dosage information.

Scientific Evidence for Silencil

Silencil has not gone through any types of clinical trials or scientific studies. The company has not verified the effects of the supplement on any humans or animals.

The company claims to have conducted a trial involving 40 men and women, 100% of whom cured their tinnitus and fixed brain issues after using the supplement – although we cannot find any evidence this trial took place.

The company also claims that over 122,000 have used their formula to treat tinnitus – again, we can find no evidence that anybody has successfully used Silencil to have any positive impact on hearing problems.

Since Silencil does not disclose its full list of ingredients or dosages, it’s impossible to compare the supplement to any studies. There’s some evidence that chamomile, ashwagandha, and mucuna pruriens can support healthy inflammation in your body – but there’s no evidence any of these ingredients can restore hearing, cure tinnitus, or have any significant impact on your ear health.

Silencil Pricing

Silencil is one of the most expensive nutritional supplements we have reviewed. At $50 to $70 per bottle, Silencil is surprisingly expensive for a supplement with such low dosages of unproven ingredients.

Here’s how pricing breaks down:

  • 1 Bottle: $49 + $9.95 Shipping
  • 3 Bottles: $177 + Free Shipping
  • 6 Bottles: $294 + Free Shipping

You can only buy Silencil through the official website at Silencil.com. It’s not sold through Amazon or other retailers.

Silencil Refund Policy

Silencil has a 60 day refund policy. You can request a complete refund on Silencil within 60 days, minus shipping costs.

Who’s Behind Silencil?

Final Word

There’s no evidence that taking any supplement can cure tinnitus – despite what the makers of Silencil seem to suggest. The company claims to have tested the formula on 122,000 people, with 100% of participants relieving tinnitus, brain disorders, and severe hearing problems, among other issues.

Overall, there’s no evidence any word on the Silencil sales page is true. As far as we can tell, Silencil has not been tested on any humans or animals, and the formula has not been shown to significantly impact hearing or tinnitus in any significant way.

It’s true that certain vitamins and minerals are crucial for ear health. However, you can get those vitamins and minerals through any multivitamin – you don’t have to spend a fortune on a sleazy supplement like Silencil.
