Sculpt Nation’s Burn Fat Burner works during the day to burn belly fat, and Burn PM works at night to burn belly fat – or at least, that’s the idea. Let’s take a closer look at the science behind both the Burn Fat Burner and Burn PM.
Burn Fat Burner Scientific Evidence
Sculpt Nation claims Burn Fat Burner is a “potent natural fat burner” that burns fat, increases energy levels, and suppresses appetite. The formula’s power comes from its thermogenic agent matrix that “sends your metabolism into hyperdrive, burns extra calories, and torches body fat”.
The ingredient label lists ingredients like 300mg of EGCG (from green tea leaf extract), 100mg of cayenne fruit extract, and 100mg of caffeine, all of which are commonly found in other diet pill formulas.
EGCG has shown promising evidence for weight loss, especially when taken in combination with caffeine. This review study found that humans taking 100 to 460mg of EGCG combined with 80 to 300mg of caffeine for at least 12 weeks experienced significant weight loss and reduction of body fat. Sculpt Nation uses a dosage of 300mg of EGCG and 100mg of caffeine

Burn PM Scientific Evidence
Sculpt Nation claims Burn PM will burn fat while you sleep. Can you really take a pill to encourage fat burning at night while you sleep?
Key ingredients in the formula include 300mg of raspberry ketones, 260mg of green coffee bean extract, and 300mg of white kidney bean extract.
Let’s start with raspberry ketones. Raspberry ketones are the natural chemicals that give raspberries and certain other fruits their unique scent. Raspberry ketones shot to prominence in 2005 after the release of a study where mice were fed a high-fat diet and given raspberry ketones. The mice gained less weight than mice in the placebo group.
Unfortunately, there’s no real scientific evidence showing raspberry ketones work in humans – either for weight loss or any other health benefits. This 2015 study, in fact, showed that raspberry ketones could have potentially toxic effects on the heart while also affecting the reproductive system.
The other major ingredient in Burn PM is white kidney bean extract. White kidney bean extract is purported to have certain health benefits. Some studies have suggested that white kidney bean extract can even promote weight loss. This review study, for example, found that white kidney bean extract led to a statistically significant reduction in body fat (approximately 4 pounds) when compared to a placebo, although there was insufficient evidence for weight loss.
However, that review study exclusively analyzed dosages of 445mg to 1,500mg per day. Burn PM contains just 300mg of white kidney bean extract in each two capsule serving.
Interestingly, the formula also contains 5.4mg of melatonin and 80mg of L-tryptophan, both of which should help you get a restful night’s sleep. Both ingredients are linked to improved sleep. In fact, they may be the most proven ingredients in Burn PM.
Ultimately, we’re skeptical that Burn PM will actually burn fat as you sleep. However, two of the ingredients (melatonin and L-tryptophan) are proven to help you get a better night’s sleep. A better night’s sleep lowers cortisol levels and improves overall health, both of which are linked to weight loss.
