In fact, Kyle claims that an enlarged prostate is unrelated to prostate symptoms. He claims having a bigger prostate does not make you urinate more frequently or experience sexual dysfunction, for example:
“Now, conventional wisdom has always held that the increase in prostate size with age is the root problem. And it’s true that your prostate does get larger with age…However, new evidence suggests that this theory is at best only half right…Which explains why so many mainstream methods fall short of mark.”
Kyle cites one study showing that only half of men with an enlarged prostate experienced bladder problems. 50% of men with an enlarged prostate had no prostate-related symptoms.
Kyle adds that the number of men with an enlarged prostate who suffer from problems is “extremely small”:
“The actual number of men who show significant growth in their prostate…And who ALSO struggle with nagging bladder and sexual problems is “extremely small.”
Kyle claims an enlarged prostate does not cause bladder issues. Instead, it’s a neurological issue. ProstateP4 claims to target this neurological issue by accessing your autonomic nervous system.
Your autonomic nervous system, or ANS, is the control center for your body. It controls functions you don’t need to consciously think about – like breathing.
ProstateP4 claims to target a specific aspect of your ANS: hyperactivity.
When you have a hyperactive ANS, you struggle with bladder issues, sexual function, and other problems linked to your prostate. Modern medicine tells us these problems are linked to an enlarged prostate – but Kyle and the ProstateP4 team tell us it’s linked to ANS hyperactivity:
“In study after study… on every continent on the globe… the research all pointed in one direction…ANS Hyperactivity is the true reason so many aging men have their lives turned upside down.”
Kyle also suggests that ANS hyperactivity causes an enlarged prostate. In other words, ANS hyperactivity is the root of your problems – and ProstateP4 claims to target that root.
Typically, supplements should not significantly impact your autonomic nervous system (ANS). It’s a crucial part of your body responsible for core life functions. It’s unusual that ProstateP4 seems to suggest changing a part of your nervous system – but let’s take a closer look at the ingredients and how they work.
ProstateP4 Ingredients
ProstateP4 claims to work differently from other prostate health supplements. While other prostate supplements target an enlarged prostate, ProstateP4 claims to target hyperactivity in your nervous system.
To do that, ProstateP4 uses the following ingredients:
UrgeFree: UrgeFree is a formula linked to prostate health. It’s a proprietary formula containing pumpkin seed extract and soybean extract.
Graminex: Graminex is another proprietary formula marketed to men with an enlarged prostate. The formula can purportedly eliminate urinary discomfort. It’s a type of flower pollen extract.
Cranberry Extract: Many prostate health supplements contain cranberry extract. Cranberry extract is linked with improved urinary flow. Although it may not significantly impact prostate health, cranberry extract is linked with better support for urination.
Saw Palmetto Extract: Saw palmetto extract is one of the most research-backed ingredients for prostate health, and many studies link saw palmetto extract to prostate health – so it’s no surprise to see it in ProstateP4. Saw palmetto extract does not target your nervous system, but it could support a normal prostate size.
Other Ingredients: ProstateP4 packages all of the ingredients above into a gelatin capsule with rice flour and vegetable magnesium stearate used as binders.
Kyle claims he tested and analyzed 113+ ingredients before settling on the above formula. He chose all of these ingredients and dosages based on science, which is why he believes ProstateP4 can significantly support prostate health.
Scientific Evidence for ProstateP4
ProstateP4 has not completed any clinical trials or scientific studies proving it works as advertised to target your autonomic nervous system and support prostate health.
However, Kyle claims he observed significant benefits with his father. He claims his dad improved his sex life, energy, and overall attitude within 3 weeks of taking the formula, awkwardly describing that his mother and father “couldn’t keep their hands off each other.”
Kyle also claims he gave ProstateP4 to his dad’s friends, and they experienced powerful benefits.
One man claims he used to wake up 6 times a night to pee, which typically means you have a severe prostate problem. That man was able to sleep restfully throughout the night after taking ProstateP4 for 12 weeks.
Now, let’s check the formal scientific evidence supporting ProstateP4.
The makers of ProstateP4 claim UrgeFree has completed studies showing it reduces the need to urinate by 74%. We can’t find any studies on UrgeFree proving this claim. In fact, there’s limited information online about UrgeFree whatsoever, making it impossible to verify any of the claims made on the ProstateP4 sales page. We know a company attempted to trademark the term in July 2018. However, the term was never trademarked, and the formula is not patented or well-studied.
Graminex G63 is backed by research and can be found in other nutritional supplements. Many prostate supplements contain Graminex G63 to target prostate problems. You can find Graminex supplements online for $10 to $25 per bottle.
As explained on the official Graminex.com website, Graminex is a type of flower pollen extract that contains amino acids and phytosterols standardized to support prostate health, urinary health, liver health, and women’s health.
The clinical studies page for Graminex is currently blank, although the company seems to have completed multiple clinical studies proving the formula works as advertised to support prostate health. In this study, for example, researchers gave Graminex to 13 participants and observed significant improvements in prostate issues based on International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) reports.
Graminex is the most proven and science-backed ingredient in ProstateP4, although the supplement does not contain a strong dose of the ingredient. Most Graminex supplements contain 500mg of formula per serving, although ProstateP4 contains just 125mg of Graminex in each two capsule serving.
Some natural health experts recommend using cranberry extract to target prostate problems. It’s also a common solution for urinary tract infections. As Harvard Health Publishing explains, cranberry juice could support urination in various ways, although it does not seem to target your autonomic nervous system as advertised by ProstateP4.
Finally, saw palmetto extract is found in many male health supplements for its impact on prostate health. As WebMD explains, saw palmetto extract is used for urinary symptoms and an enlarged prostate, and several studies have supported this benefit (although other studies have not).
Overall, ProstateP4 does not seem to significantly impact the autonomous nervous system. It contains ingredients that could support prostate health in various ways, although the dosages are smaller than other supplements at this price range.
