In an eight-week study, people taking the supplement as directed increased their NAD+ levels by 40%. This was a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Participants increased their NAD+ levels by 40% compared to the placebo group. The study was published in Nature.
The study involved a total of 120 healthy adults between ages 60 and 80. Participants were given the recommended daily dose of Elysium Basis every day (each dose consists of 250mg of NR and 50mg of pterostilbene).
Participants not only raised NAD+ levels by 40% after 30 days, but this number was sustained at 60 days.
